In jewelry class this month, my beginners are starting their soldered projects. Here's a pin I made to showcase the process of simple soldered connections and a basic stone setting. I love putting simple shapes/scraps into abstract designs to illustrate fabrication techniques, and to show scraps and "leftovers" can be delicious and worth reinventing. Ha!
